Soccer in 2012

Spain won as we all know the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 after final win against Holland. They are also the reigning European champion after defeating Germany in the finals in 2008 when the championship was settled in Switzerland and Austria. Will the 2012 European Championships, the third straight triumph for Spain?

Although 2012 is the honors shared, and this time it is in Poland and Ukraine jointly organize the European Championship. The question that many ask themselves is whether a country should be able to challenge Spain, or if the star-studded team to take another championship title.

In Spain there are two of the world's best club teams, namely Real Madrid and Barcelona. It is from these two teams as coach Del Bosque get most of their players. The backbone of the squad has been the same for years now, which of course is a great advantage for the Spaniards.

Spain was called a long time for the team who did not win any major titles. They certainly won the European Championship in 1964, but was then not win any major international title until the European Championship gold 2008th But once it came off so came off it properly and just two years later, here we go again. Spain won the finest of all the titles and salvaged the nation's first World Championship gold.

The two teams that most people think has the best chance to challenge Spain for gold in the European Championships, Germany and Holland. The Germans are always good but if you compare players against players so they do not go up in the same standard as the Spanish team. The same goes for Holland. The best players are really good, but over the whole squad, they have not the width of the reigning champions have.
